LABR will provide rough and final cleanup throughout the course of the project. Construction Cleanup helps with safety from any potential safety hazards, improved aesthetics, damage prevention, and limiting the amount delays. Construction Cleanup operates in different phases. Below is the general sequence of phases and number of cleans, however, phases can be tailored specific to the general contractor’s own needs and priorities.
Construction Cleaning
Phase 1 (Rough Clean #1):
- Collecting and disposing of all trash, debris, and leftover materials
- Sweep dust and dirt
- Dust off vertical and horizontal surfaces
- Usually after framers are finished
Phase 2 (Rough Clean #2)
- Collecting and disposing of all trash, debris, and leftover
- Sweep dust and dirt
- Mop all floors
- dust off ALL vertical and horizontal surfaces and any added fixtures
- usually after walls come up, 1st rounds of paint, cabinet/drawer framing come in
Phase 3 (Final Clean)
- Deeper Clean
- Collecting and disposing of all trash, debris, and leftover materials
- Remove any adhesives from doors, windows, frames, and equipment
- Wipe down all vertical and horizontal surfaces, added fixtures, and appliances
- Wash Windows, remove all dirt and dust from window tracks and frames
- sweep dust and dirt
- mop all floors
- Usually the last clean before owners walk
Phase 4 (Touch up)
- Touch up from Owner’s Punch List
- Quick Clean of anything that was missed
